About the Job:

The Head of Counterintelligence position plays a critical role in safeguarding VARD against threats such as espionage, information leaks, and internal threats. As a senior leader, you will develop and implement comprehensive counterintelligence strategies and programmes tailored to our operational needs and risk profile.

• Design and implement robust counterintelligence frameworks and policies
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide actionable recommendations
• Develop and deliver training programmes to enhance employee awareness and vigilance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of counterintelligence practices
• Investigate potential breaches or insider threats and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders as needed
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies for monitoring, detection, and response
• Provide regular briefings and updates on counterintelligence efforts and emerging threats
• Develop incident response plans to minimize business disruption
• Foster partnerships with national and international security agencies to enhance our counterintelligence capabilities

We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in intelligence operations, threat analysis, and security management. A higher degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Intelligence Studies, or similar is preferred.

You should possess:

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven leadership and communication abilities
• Strong proficiency in security software, threat intelligence platforms, and data analytics tools
• Fluency in English and Norwegian
