The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for engineering services and project execution, taking on disciplinary responsibilities in multidisciplinary projects, and ensuring that all services in a project meet standards and government regulations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3 to 5 years of experience
  • Good level of spoken and written English (minimum B2)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of industrial rules and regulations
  • Technical competence in Fixed Equipment Reliability Engineering
  • Demonstrated knowledge of design theory, equipment sizing and selection, design specifications, industry standards, monitoring, preventive maintenance methods, and repair
  • Familiarity with internationally recognized codes and standards associated with the equipment in question
  • Deep understanding of instrumentation principles and control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA)
  • Knowledge of process control methodologies, loop tuning, and control strategies
  • Knowledge of field bus protocols such as HART, Profibus, and Foundation Fieldbus
  • Understanding of analog and digital signal processing
