Our Approval Centre Europe (M-SA) within Maritime Ship Classification consists of six production departments, located across three different locations.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated engineer to strengthen our Control System section in Norway or in Poland. You will be part of an engaged group driven by people's competence and motivation to help and support our customers through consistent delivery of high-quality services. As a member of M-SA, you will act in a professional, competent, and service-oriented environment, and receive good possibilities to enhance your personal competencies and expertise, and to build a strong network with colleagues across locations.

The successful candidate will have 2-5 years of experience with automation systems and field instrumentation, or be a recent graduate in cybernetics, automation, and/or computer science. Your background from the maritime or offshore/energy industry would be preferable. We encourage graduates of all years to apply.

As a self-driven team player passionate about solving challenges and creating results, you will be responsible for performing design review and approval of control systems for ships, offshore newbuilding's and conversion projects according to DNV rules. You will also provide second line support to DNV's direct access to experts tool, and participate in face-to-face meetings and workshops with customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Your background will typically be bachelor/master in cybernetics, automation and/or computer science. In addition, background from the maritime or offshore/energy industry is preferable. You should have 2-5 years of experience with automation systems and field instrumentation, or be a recent graduate in cybernetics, automation, and/or computer science. We also encourage graduates of all years to apply.
