About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Control Manager to join our team at Omega AS.

\

The successful candidate will have 10+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably with experience working both Contractor and Client side.

\

Responsibilities include:

\
  • Managing reviews and assurance of schedule and cost estimates budget approvals.
  • Collaborating with Project Management Team to identify threats to cost and schedule and identifying mitigation strategies.
  • Leading administrative requirements towards Client and internal reporting to Senior Management, i.e., monthly reports and all required supporting documentation.
  • DIRECTING cost and schedule risk analysis workshops to determine the contingency estimate.
  • DEVELOPING reports for PM and PMT to utilize and control deviations within schedule and cost frame.
  • BENCHMARKING against historical performance, industry norms and established KPIs.
  • CONTRIBUTING to project operational readiness planning and implementation activities.
  • RESPONSIBLE for developing meaningful integrated schedules and periodic updates.
  • RESPONSIBLE for the development of cost estimates and control budgets and monitor trends and forecasts.
  • REVIEWING and maintaining the company work breakdown structure (WBS) for reporting and accurate allocation of asset/facilities costs.
  • COLLABORATING with PMT in controlling Fabrication Yard.
  • SUPPORTING PM with administrative tasks.
  • REPORTING on monthly and quarterly projects budgets and forecast to key stakeholders including schedule updates, forecast to complete variance identification, opportunities for improvement and risk.
  • RESPONSIBLE for establishing and maintaining the risk register and follow up to ensure that mitigating actions are taken to reduce the risk.
  • PROMOTING and developing with the project team opportunities to enhance project performances.
  • PARTICIPATING within Contract management – Change management.
  • CONTROLLING and monitoring overall manage commercial changes in the project and play an active role to monitor, pursue and secure variation orders with client.
  • ENSURING changes are evaluated on cost, schedule and risk.
  • PROJECT SUPPORT MANAGEMENT.
