Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build high-performance, scalable distributed systems
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure backend systems meet organizational needs
- Troubleshoot and monitor backend system issues
- Continuously improve backend systems for maximum reliability, scalability, and efficiency
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software development or a relevant field
- Proficiency in programming languages like TypeScript
- Experience with horizontally scalable backend systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture
- Familiarity with NoSQL and SQL databases (DynamoDB, Cloud Spanner)
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, LB, VPC) and Amazon Web Services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Route53, CloudFront)
- Knowledge of Node.js and containerized applications
