About the Position:

We are looking for a talented Cloud Backend Developer Lead to join our team at Pixotope Technologies AS in Oslo, Norway.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Integrate Pixotope's Cloud platform with Zendesk and HubSpot.
  • Design and develop services within a distributed cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the cloud team on various Pixotope Cloud assignments.
  • Participate in both backend and frontend tasks, utilizing Javascript/Typescript, Java or Rust as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields.
  2. 5+ years of development experience.
  3. 3+ years of experience working with AWS cloud technology (e.g. ECS, ECR, EC2, S3, EKS, CloudFormation).
  4. Proficiency in modern programming languages and technologies.
  5. Strong Git or version control skills.
  6. Ability to debug, problem-solve, and test code.
  7. Fluent communication in English.
  8. API development and Docker/containerization expertise.
  9. Hands-on experience with scalable, distributed cloud systems.

Prioritization is also given to candidates with:

  1. Experience with Swift.
  2. Familiarity with infrastructure automation (Terraform).
  3. Knowledge of distributed system monitoring tools (ELK, CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus).
  4. Experience integrating business systems.
