About the Position
This PhD position is focused on investigating the molecular mechanisms involved in glutamine/amino acid transporters and their roles in brain and gut physiology. The candidate will work closely with Professor Farrukh A. Chaudhry's research group, using a multidisciplinary approach to unravel the function and regulation of these transporters.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in life sciences, with practical experience in characterizing proteins and prior experience in biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, kinetical assays, and immunocytochemistry.
