Purchasing Opportunities

Nexans USA Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Purchaser to join our dynamic Project Purchasing team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all purchasing-related activities.

About the Role

This role requires a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a project setting. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage procurement plans, defining purchasing strategies and negotiating contracts.
  • Collaborate with tender/project teams to evaluate and select suppliers.
  • Evaluate suppliers' performance and implement procurement strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with Nexans purchasing procedures and policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a project setting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English, oral and written; Norwegian/French/Spanish/Italian is a plus.
