Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Front Office Leader to join our team in India. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Trading and Origination and will be responsible for leading our commercial activities and operations in the Indian market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of commercial strategies to optimize asset revenues and grow profitable portfolios of structured power transactions.
  • Work closely with the Deal Origination, Portfolio Management, Market Analysis, Deal Operations, Risk Management, and Commercial Project Management teams to identify business opportunities and develop business ideas.
  • Take commercial ownership of business ideas and define and work on commercial strategies that align with the company's growth strategy and value principles.
  • Have a deep understanding of the full energy market value chain to derive and execute profitable business ideas.
  • Implement and monitor operational procedures for efficient workflow.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience in a commercial role in the power sector, with a strong background in transaction closures in the B2B segment.
  • Demonstrated ability to ideate, deal-make, sell, business develop, and lead people.
  • Strong expertise and experience of power trading in the Indian market.
  • Demonstrated and strong quantitative/analytical skills to identify market trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities.
  • Sound understanding of the fundamental market drivers of power and energy space.
