The Job
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the business to create and develop internal regulations, procedures, and practices.
- Monitor and analyze new legislation and regulations to identify potential impacts on the company.
- Provide training and support to colleagues on regulatory matters.
- Perform risk and compliance checks in the first line of defense.
- Collaborate with external compliance officers, risk managers, and internal auditors to ensure compliance.
- Develop and implement changes to internal policies, procedures, and practices advised by the compliance function, risk function, and internal auditor.
Requirements
- A law degree from a Nordic or Common Law jurisdiction.
- ~3-5 years of experience from a similar role, preferably from a regulated business or a company within the finance sector.
- Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English.
- A high level of integrity and ability to work independently, as well as excellent social skills and team working capabilities.
- Previous experience from AIFM-related matters and private equity is a strong merit.
