Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled 2nd Engineer to join our seismic fleet operation, responsible for maintaining and supervising all machinery on board.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance and repair of all machinery, including main and auxiliary engines, separators, boilers, and steering equipment.
  2. Supervision of junior engineers and fitters to ensure efficient and safe working practices.
  3. Accurate logging of maintenance activities, temperatures, and pressures.
  4. Weekly checks on lifeboats, workboat, FRC engine, and emergency diesel.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a 2nd Engineer in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
