Your New Role:

We're seeking an Electrical / Automation Engineer to join our Engineering team in Kristiansand, Norway. As a key member, you'll be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining systems applications software for our engineered products. You'll also support document control systems and processes to ensure smooth project operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of existing and new applications by identifying areas for modification and improvement.
  • Perform tests on applications software and respond to engineering and user queries to diagnose and correct performance issues.
  • Identify and correct software defects to maintain fully functioning applications software.
  • Maintain a roadmap of planned application software developments and prioritize them in line with Survitec business requirements.
  • Create and maintain technical and user documentation to a high standard.
  • Explore and develop an understanding of external developments and emerging issues that may impact or enhance the Survitec product portfolio.
  • Identify instances of non-compliance with Survitec policies, procedures, and regulatory codes, and report and escalate issues as needed.
  • Promote a safety-first culture within the team.
  • Foster an inclusive environment where all team members feel valued and appreciated.
  • Develop your own capabilities through training and education, staying informed about technology, regulations, and industry best practices.

  • 6-12 months of general experience in a design engineering office or IT systems application team.
