About the Role

At Turner & Townsend, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Centre Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for delivering complex projects and programs as the primary client interface.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to drive projects to successful completion.
  • Manage the design process to achieve client requirements and manage expectations.
  • Review project plans, specifications, schedules, costs, discrepancies, and potential construction problems.
  • Ensure project safety and environmental requirements are met.
  • Manage project timelines, risks, and reporting.
  • Manage project budgets and provide options to keep budget on track.
  • Participate in marketing and business development initiatives.
  • C coordinate vendor scope with overall project delivery.
  • Draft contract documents in accordance with approved templates.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in project management within a Data Centre or similar technical environment.
  • Technical understanding of Data Centre Infrastructure – HVAC, Electrical, Generators, Fire, Security, and BMS.
  • Professional/tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, or construction.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of main project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.
  • Norwegian language skills desired.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is £60,000-£80,000 depending on location and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, pension plan, and generous holiday entitlement.
