Job Title: Project Controller

Statkraft is seeking a highly skilled Project Controller to join our Ireland and UK Project Delivery Unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and execution of new renewable projects in the Regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the project schedule, controlling and monitoring progress across the development, procurement, engineering, and construction phases.
  • Plan and control physical progress curves (S curves) for each project phase, analyzing the critical path and preparing recovery actions in agreement with the project team.
  • Support the definition of the project's capex until the main investment decision, ensuring the collection of relevant information from all involved units.
  • Control and monitor actuals, committed, and forecast during the execution phase, providing planned vs. actual analysis and possible drivers and actions for improvement.
  • Identify and quantify risks that could impact project schedule and capex, mitigating their impact and probability.
  • Manage risks with the project team, providing information on discrepancies between physical progress and economic impacts.
  • Prepare monthly capex and schedule reports, assisting project managers in preparing SteerCo reports.
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis for evaluating mitigation actions to reduce project riskiness.
  • Interface with company units, contractors, and PMAs to provide reliable cost, risk, and scheduling data.
  • Attend and contribute to Quality Risk Assessment sessions and develop P50 and P70 budgets.
  • Manage the change management process from contract award to closeout, including external and internal cost centers and WBSs.
Requirements:
  • Masters or university degree in engineering, QS, construction management, or contracts administration on large capex projects, or similar with extensive experience in the field.
  • MBA or MSc or equivalent training in project management and/or certification in PMI is a plus.
  • 5-8 years of project control experience from large, complex, international investment projects.
  • Previous experience in renewable projects is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of relevant systems and tools, including Office package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis, and other planning packages.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
