Survey Director

The Survey department at DeepOcean plays a crucial role in providing onshore and offshore resources to our projects, driving the development and strategy of survey services within the company. As a Survey Manager, you will be responsible for leading the department in the right direction, aligning with DeepOcean's objectives and strategies.

• Champion HSEQS values and processes, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
• Manage the delivery of survey services in Norway, overseeing personnel and resources.
• Operate the Survey department within budget and business objectives, driving continuous organisational improvement.
• Mentor and develop managers in the Department.
• Forecast and maintain necessary resources and competencies to support projects and developments.
• Lead the continuous enhancement of survey methods through development and maintenance of software and hardware, as well as governing documentation and guidelines.
• Maintain efficient working relationships and collaboration with projects, relevant internal departments, and UK Survey Services.
• Support tender processes and ensure peer reviews are conducted by relevant stakeholders.
• Implement innovative technology initiatives.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the offshore subsea industry.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English.
