Cancer Immunotherapy: A Challenging Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team at the Institute for Cancer Research. The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to advance our current project focused on developing nucleoside-modified mRNA therapeutics for cancer immunotherapy.

The goal of this project is to establish a molecular toolbox that enhances the efficacy and safety of therapeutic mRNAs. This includes exploring how chemical modifications of mRNA affect translation efficiency and fidelity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and clone candidate gene constructs
  • Perform PCR, transfection, cell culture, in vitro transcription, epitope-tagged purification of recombinant proteins, and flow cytometry
  • Analyze mass spectrometry data and perform immunoassays and/or T cell functional assays
Requirements:
  • PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, or biochemistry with a strong research track record
  • Practical expertise in nucleic acid and protein techniques
  • Strong self-motivation and effective time management skills
  • Ability to work precisely and good attention to detail
