Oslo University Hospital is a leading hospital in Norway, with over 20,000 employees. Our Centre for Embryology and Healthy Development (CRESCO) is a Norwegian Centre of Excellence that focuses on epigenetic and epitranscriptomic modifications, DNA repair, and genome stability. We are seeking a skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our interdisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team of bioinformaticians, cancer cell biologists, clinicians, and pathologists. The project aims to explore novel RNA modifications and their roles in cancer initiation and progression. You will utilize state-of-the-art epigenetic/epitranscriptomic methods to analyze multi-omics data.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary is attractive according to Oslo University Hospital guidelines. You will also receive a full-time contract for two years, with potential extensions. Additionally, you will have access to large, unique datasets and state-of-the-art lab facilities.

Job Requirements:

  • PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Statistics, Computer Science, Genetics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R, with strong statistical knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient English language skills.
