Job Description

This role is part of Summa's legal team, reporting to the General Counsel & CEO, based in our Stockholm office. As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for risk and compliance related issues from a first line of defense point of view.

  • You will continuously monitor and ensure internal policies and procedures are maintained, followed, and documented.
  • You will support the business in creating and developing the company's internal regulations, procedures, and practices.
  • You will monitor and analyze new legislation and regulation.
  • You will plan board meetings and report the compliance status to the board.
  • You will act as the point of contact for the company's external Compliance Officer, Risk Manager, and internal auditor.
  • You will train co-workers in the application of new regulation and help the business implement new regulation.
  • You will perform risk and compliance checks in the first line of defense.
  • You will implement changes in internal policies, procedures, and practices advised by the Compliance function, Risk function, and the internal auditor.
  • You will assist the company's Finance department and investment team in regulatory matters.
