The Role

As UAT Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of quarterly releases and other key deliverables. You will have the authority to stop releases that do not meet quality requirements, and continuously work to improve the way Cognite works with quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product and customer success organizations to define user acceptance test scopes for given releases
  • Create and manage UAT test schedules and assignments
  • Monitor and report on UAT test progress, identifying and resolving blockers and delays in a timely manner
  • Communicate UAT test results and follow up on issues identified during testing to ensure resolution or mitigation before release
  • Validate that test coverage requirements are met for all released features according to service maturity definitions
  • Maintain awareness of post-release regressions, identifying areas for quality improvement or increased test coverage
  • Continuously improve processes related to quality assurance

Success Metrics

  • Customer expectations are met for new features, including end-to-end functionality, usability, and quality
  • Customers trust Cognite's platform and apps for mission-critical applications
