About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Contract Management Specialist to join our team in Brazil. As a key member of our Project Procurement team, you will be responsible for managing several contracts related to projects in Brazil. You will work closely with the Project Manager to handle all activities, including technical issues, claims, analyses, and other tasks required to execute the works until they are handed over to the O&M team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage contracts related to projects in Brazil, including technical issues, claims, and analyses.
- Participate in all project phases, from early business development to contract strategy, supplier market analysis, and prequalification.
- Lead negotiations, manage contract challenges, draft letters, handle invoices, and review guarantees.
- Ensure compliance with Statkraft's high standards regarding health, safety, and the environment while preventing corruption.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline area or documented extensive experience in the field.
- Master all phases of the procurement process with excellent results and references.
- Solid and relevant experience from large energy companies, construction, supply of equipment, or complex oil and gas contracts/subcontracting.
- Able to master negotiations and draw up contracts in English and Portuguese – excellent collaboration skills.
- Experience with SAP would be a differential.
- Multidisciplinary experience would be a differential.
