About the Role:
Schibsted Marketplaces is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead our Financial Reporting function as the Head of Record to Report. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our organization and drive excellence in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of accounting professionals and drive the Record to Report process.
  • Design and implement an effective and efficient financial reporting process.
  • Ensure compliance and contribute to the internal controls design and reporting.
  • Align financial reporting processes with company goals and objectives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Master's degree in accounting and auditing, business, economics, finance, or a related field.
  • Skills and Experience: Experience leading teams within audit or accounting of larger companies, experience in process optimization and improvement projects within accounting processes.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of accounting and the Record to Report process.
  • Mindset: Independently driven, yet highly collaborative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Swedish or Norwegian.
