Job Details

Primary Objective: Overall responsibility of the country's financial reporting (Internal and external) and tax reporting (internal and external).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains accurate and timely financial summaries for the parent company.
  • Responsible for internal reporting, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information.
  • Prepares and files statutory accounts in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepares tax returns and monitors tax implications, ensuring accurate and timely filing.
  • Manages cash flow on a daily basis, ensuring efficient and effective financial management.
  • Develops and manages GFSS budgets and allocations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provides quarterly statistical reporting, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Guarantees the delivery of internal reporting packages on time, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
  • Guarantees the financial statements are prepared and filed on time, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Guarantees the tax returns are filed on time, ensuring accurate and timely filing.
  • Guarantees statistical reporting is done on time, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information.
  • Guarantees that the GFSS budget is prepared on time, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Guarantees the department's budget, ensuring efficient and effective financial management.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Monthly and quarterly reporting delivered on time, with no fines or penalties.

Key Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • College degree + 5 years of experience in financial reporting and tax management.
  • Knowledge of accounting rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems and software.
  • Training for a professional accounting qualification encouraged.
  • Knowledge of tax rules and regulations, with experience in preparing tax returns.
  • Willingness to learn Norwegian language.

Preferred:

  • Fluent in Norwegian language.
  • Currently based in Norway.
