Job Summary

Filipinas-Global Multi-Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with in-house and manufacturers' standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct preventative maintenance checks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition
  • Servicing ABS / ESP systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance
  • Perform engine, gearbox, transmission, drive train, and clutch work to diagnose and repair complex issues
  • Conduct emissions testing to ensure vehicles meet regulatory standards
  • Work on electrical components, including ECUs, to diagnose and repair faults
  • Complete associated paperwork and reporting to ensure accurate records
  • Develop and maintain a good knowledge of timing belts, cam belts, full servicing, and MOT preparation/repairs and inspection
  • Carry out fault diagnosis and indicate to the Workshop Controller possible future faults and repair requirements
Requirements
  • Education in the field of car mechanics, minimum 3 years of higher education (Bachelor degree)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the field
  • Documented references from previous employers
  • All documents confirming additional training from previous workplaces are welcome
  • Diagnostic skills and knowledge of high voltage/hybrid cars
  • Communicative level of English
  • Experience with Scania, DAF, Iveco, Volvo, and Mercedes truck brands
