Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of a robust financial reporting structure to ensure accurate and timely consolidated financial statements for Schibsted Marketplaces Group.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and Investor Relations teams to deliver high-quality internal and external financial reports that meet regulatory standards and stakeholder expectations.
  • Partner with the Sustainability team to enhance sustainability reporting processes and align them with international best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with subsidiaries and ensure compliance with statutory reporting, VAT, and tax regulations across the group.
  • Coordinate and manage the external audit process to ensure smooth execution and identification of areas for improvement.

About the Role:

  • This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving financial excellence within Schibsted Marketplaces.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex financial projects and teams, as well as experience in financial reporting and accounting compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to succeed in this role, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • A Master's degree in accounting or a related field is required, along with certification as a State Authorized Public Accountant.
  • Fluency in English is a must, and proficiency in Swedish or Norwegian is also desired.
