Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning System Management: Manage and control commissioning activities related to mechanical and process systems, including compressors and other rotating equipment.
  • Commissioning Preparations and Execution: Responsible for commissioning preparations and execution within the project for all relevant systems, including handover to Operations and Plant Integrity.
  • Interfacing Commissioning Activities: Support other disciplines with interfacing commissioning activities and participate in weekly meetings regarding status, development of strategies, budget, plans/schedules, procedures, routines, ATS requirements, FAT, UFAT, RISK, and work processes for commissioning.
  • Commissioning Documentation: Responsible for follow-up writing of commissioning procedures on dedicated systems, issue and maintain commissioning boundary documentation for efficient construction and commissioning schedules, and follow up punch work in the field and punch list documentation ensuring that drawings/documents are updated and identified during commissioning.
  • Facility Handover: Responsible for handover of the facility to Operations by issuing TAC (Technical Acceptance Certificate) and RFOC (Ready for Operation Certificates).
  • Collaboration and Communication: Close interaction with Project Support, Engineering, Construction, Operations, and Plant Integrity teams.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Engineering - Mechanical/Process.
  • Special Examinations/Certificates: Offshore certificate required.
  • Industry Experience: Required experience in oil and gas projects.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Norwegian (both written and verbal) and good communication skills in English.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of Equinor's governing documentation and good knowledge of Procosys and Fusion.
  • Soft Skills: Well-developed teambuilding, co-operational, and communication abilities, ability to handle responsibility and periodically high workload, ability to drive activities to be complete on schedule, and skill to establish good relations with Contractors.
