We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our team at Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Environmental Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive environmental strategies that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead Environmental Initiatives: Oversee and coordinate environmental initiatives across the organisation, ensuring effective integration of sustainable practices into all business processes.
  • Monitor and Report Environmental Performance: Track and report environmental performance metrics to senior management and relevant authorities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable practices, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in environmental management or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and standards; excellent communication and project management skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
