We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Engineer - Technical Safety Expert to join our team at Aker Solutions ASA. As a key member of our Technical Safety Engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough risk assessments and qualitative/quantitative analyses to identify potential hazards and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Lead safety design reviews, including HAZID, Safety Assessment, and ALARP Assessment, to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our safety practices.
- Develop and maintain expertise in relevant Norwegian regulations and standards, and ensure that these are applied consistently across our projects.
- Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in technical safety engineering.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality safety solutions and leading safety design reviews.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement.
