Job Title: Senior Analyst

Scope Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Corporate Ratings team. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing complex non-financial corporates and writing insightful credit research.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-depth analysis and conduct credit research on a diversified portfolio of Corporate credits.
  • Monitor existing ratings and recommend reviews and changes on a timely basis.
  • Present to and participate in rating committees.
  • Act as a communication point-of-contact between Scope Group and customers, interacting with senior executives.
  • Conduct discussions with clients and investors, as well as giving presentations, explanations, and briefings at a highly professional level.
  • Produce high-quality, insightful, and forward-looking research and analytical comments on a timely basis.
  • Work closely with other Corporates team members, staff, and management in Scope Group.
Your Professional and Personal Profile:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, reflecting analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of non-financial corporates.
  • Profound sector expertise and high familiarity with European and/or Scandinavian financial markets.
  • Fluency in English and one of the Scandinavian languages (Norwegian/Swedish) is a must. Any other European language would be a plus.
  • Master's degree in finance, banking, economics, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent qualification, CFA charter is a plus.
  • Willingness to take responsibility with an entrepreneurial attitude. Accountable and reliable person of the highest integrity.
  • Strong team player, confident and professional appearance, and high social and communication skills.
  • Multi-cultural, collaborative, self-starter, versatile, inquisitive, and detail-oriented personality.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able and ready to travel.
  • Flexibility in accepting tasks and duties and carrying them out as directed.
  • Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) computer skills.
