Key Responsibilities

Perform classification inspections of operational vessels.

Examine various maritime apparatus, machinery, and cargo-handling systems.

Conduct assessments and certifications on behalf of governmental and public authorities.

Facilitate effective communication, reporting, and collaboration with clients and team members.

Contribute to the continuous improvement and advancement of RINA.

Create precise and succinct reports.

Address client inquiries on a daily basis.

Exhibit a high degree of professionalism and dedication.

Qualifications and Experience

Possess a formal qualification in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.

Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including roles such as class surveyor, owner superintendent, shipyard quality control inspector, or Chief Engineer on merchant vessels.

Previous experience with Classification Societies is a plus.

Demonstrate practical and theoretical expertise in hull, machinery, materials, equipment, and safety systems of vessels.

Physically capable of working in confined spaces, hazardous environments, extreme temperatures, and adverse weather conditions.

Willingness to travel frequently is essential.

Fluency in both Norwegian and English, spoken and written, is required.
