Based in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area, Valbin has an established and ongoing partnership with the US Government through its GSA Schedule and the Valbin Mission Readiness Support Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exercise Contribution: Bring STRATCOM expertise to NATO Joint Strategic and Operational level exercises, providing strategic advice and recommendations to improve STRATCOM aspects within the scenario.
  • Documentation Production: Contribute to the development of political-military strategic and operational information and products, ensuring high-quality and accurate documentation.
  • Scenario Development: Review and respond to TA-generated activities related to STRATCOM, providing expert input and guidance.
  • Strategic Advice: Provide recommendations to improve STRATCOM aspects within the scenario, leveraging expertise in strategic communications and public relations.
  • Role-Playing: Act as the political-military focal point for STRATCOM matters during exercises, providing expert guidance and support.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Higher civilian military or equivalent degree relevant to communications or 6 years equivalent working experience.
  • Experience:
  • At least 3 years within the last 6 years in communications and public relations, including STRATCOM experience.
  • Experience briefing senior leaders/decision makers in a National or Multinational environment.
  • NATO Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with NATO's communication strategies and strategic planning processes.
  • Command Experience: Experience as an advisor or member of a senior staff team.
  • Security Clearance: Current NATO Secret Security Clearance.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English as defined by STANAG 6001 (SLP 4433) or equivalent.
