Maritime Surveyor Trainee

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maritime Surveyor Trainee to join our team at DNV. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of marine structures, including ships, platforms, and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a relevant field such as Marine Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Description:

• 
  
• Perform surveys on vessels and platforms to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  
• Plan and coordinate surveying activities to meet deadlines and quality standards
  
• Prepare accurate and timely reports of inspections and surveys
  
• Engage with clients to resolve issues and provide technical guidance
  
• Travel extensively throughout Norway and internationally
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
