Your Future Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Project Engineering Manager to join our team in Oslo. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical success of our projects, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adhering to contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the technical contractual scope of the project, ensuring that all technical requirements are met.
- Assist the Project Engineering Manager in technical scope management, identifying and mitigating technical risks.
- Support the identification and management of technical risks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Contribute to design and application engineering activities, validating technical design choices and chairing the Project Change Control Board.
- Supervise Verification & Validation activities, ensuring that all technical requirements are met.
- Assist in defining and executing knowledge capitalization activities, ensuring that project knowledge is captured and shared.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or scientific subjects.
- Experience or understanding of project deployment full lifecycle, with a focus on technical scope management.
- Knowledge of cost and planning control within engineering scope, with a focus on technical risk management.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management in contractual situations, with a focus on technical scope management.
- A certification in Project Management is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Resilience and problem-solving ability, with a focus on technical risk management.
