Job Description

The Legal Counsel will be responsible for advising the business on compliance and legal issues surrounding the structuring of new and existing financial products. This will involve drafting customer-facing legal documents, working closely with Product and Commercial teams to design and deliver solutions that are compliant with Consumer Credit legislation and PSDII, and engaging and working with local regulators in Norway and Lithuania.

As a Legal Counsel, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects, developing your skills and expertise in financial regulation and consumer credit law.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of PQE experience as a Norwegian lawyer in-house or at a private practice.
  • Excellent academic and law firm credentials.
  • Experience in advising on financial regulation, particularly consumer credit and related credit products.
  • Expertise in relevant financial regulations, including Consumer Credit legislation, PSDII, and Banking regulations.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and Norwegian with excellent communication skills.
