Job Description

BI Norwegian Business School is seeking a highly qualified Professor/Associate Professor in Accounting or Auditing to join its Department of Accounting and Operations Management. The successful candidate will contribute to the department's research and teaching activities, with a focus on auditing and financial accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in auditing and financial accounting, with a focus on publishing high-quality papers in top-tier journals.
  • Teach and supervise students in the Master of Accounting and Auditing program, as well as in the PhD specialization in Accounting.
  • Develop and maintain a strong research group in auditing and financial accounting, with a focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to the development of the department's research strategy and initiatives.
Requirements
  • PhD degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Established track record of publishing high-quality research in top-tier journals.
  • Strong teaching and supervision skills, with experience in teaching auditing and financial accounting courses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students.
