Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at Questback Inc. Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Consolidation:
    • Consolidate financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS)
    • Manage the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:
    • Ensure regulatory compliance, ensuring the group adheres to all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements in different jurisdictions
    • Coordinate with tax advisors and ensure the group meets all tax obligations, including the preparation and filing of tax returns
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts
    • Analyze variances between actual and budgeted figures and provide explanations for significant differences
  • Internal Control and Audit:
    • Establish and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting processes
    • Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing necessary information and ensuring timely completion of audits
  • Financial Analysis and Advisory:
    • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including profitability analysis, cost management, and financial performance assessment
    • Provide financial insight and advice to senior management to support strategic planning and business decisions
  • System and Processes:
    • Manage and optimize the use of ERP system (Xledger) and other financial software
    • Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Communicate financial information effectively to various internal stakeholders, including executive management, department heads, and board members
    • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities
  • Other:
    • Participate in or lead special financial projects and strategic initiatives as required by the organization
