About the Role

Techconsult AS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for leading process design and development projects, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process design solutions for clients in the oil, gas, and land-based industry.
  • Lead project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Conduct process and flare simulations to optimize project outcomes.
  • Produce and review process documentation, including PDS, P&ID, PFDs, and UFDs.
  • Participate in HAZOP and closing the HAZOP action.
  • Review vendor documentation and perform process hydraulic calculations.
  • Update and review SO documents.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in process design and development, with a strong background in the oil, gas, and land-based industry.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of systems, including STID, Doc Map, and AKSO (Time).
  • Familiarity with client TR's, Regulations, and Standards.
  • Bachelor/Master degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
