About the Job

We are searching for a highly skilled and ambitious candidate to join our team in developing new solutions for ultra-low noise microwave synthesis based on nonlinear integrated photonics and microcomb technologies.

Our research focuses on the development of novel ultra-low noise and high power hybrid integrated lasers and electro-optical frequency combs based on thin-film lithium tantalate photonics platform. This platform offers a unique combination of strong Pockels nonlinearity, ultra-fast electro-optical modulation bandwidth, high power resilience, thermal stability, and low noise.

The successful candidate will develop and build a hybrid integrated photonic system for the generation of ultra-low noise microwaves based on a photonic integrated microcomb and a new electro-optical frequency division scheme.

This position requires a deep knowledge of optical microcomb and integrated photonics as well as a strong grasp of RF technology and microwave oscillators.
