Sales Director Job Description
Telenor Linx is seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our sales efforts to external Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) worldwide. As a Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by enabling operators to monetize digital content and device services through secure payment methods for end customers.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers within MNOs organizations
- Create and optimize sales presentations
- Present our Sales- and Customer Engagement platform, emphasizing its value proposition and benefits to target leads
- Run negotiations and close agreements with operators
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management
- Conduct regular research and analyses on the business's market and competitive environment, looking for opportunities to further the sales department's goals by adjusting strategies and approaches that enhance efficiency and performance
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience in a complex and fast-paced sales environment
- Experience from solutions-based B2B sales and a track record of hunting prospects and signing deals
- Good understanding of MNO business globally
- Deep understanding of digital content monetization, payment methods, and device services, DCB business, and business models
- Established network with senior management in the Mobile industry is an advantage
- Strategic thinking and ability to drive results in a competitive market
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assimilate complex data and information obtained from potential customers
- Good communication skills, in both verbal and written form
- BSc/MSc degree in a relevant field
