Job Description

We are seeking a Senior/Principal Engineer with extensive experience in early-stage development, design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and hydraulic steelworks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to combine ICT skills and mechanical equipment knowledge, with experience as technical lead or manager in projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting in planning and participating in quality assurance and control both in early phase development and during construction.
  • Working with and performing technical calculations and optimisation of relevant equipment and waterways in cooperation with other disciplines.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical engineer MSc/BSc with minimum 5 – 7 years of relevant experience from power company, consultant or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical, structured, and planning oriented approach.
  • Experience with optimization, design, costing, manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning of hydropower assets and equipment.
  • Ability to perform condition assessment of mechanical equipment.
