Job Opportunity: Postdoctoral Fellow in Organ-on-a-Chip System
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team at D&A Services, LLC. as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Organ-on-a-Chip Technology. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a 3-year research project investigating bile duct inflammation using cutting-edge organ-on-a-chip technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leading researchers in the field to advance understanding of inflammatory mechanisms in bile ducts.
- Design and interpret original experiments independently.
- Employ quantitative methods to uncover and modulate inflammatory processes in bile ducts.
- Work with human material relevant to clinical medicine.
- Develop and carry out independent research projects under the supervision of a senior researcher.
Requirements:
- PhD or equivalent degree in molecular biology, bioengineering, or immunology.
- Ability to design and interpret original experiments independently.
- Experience with advanced cell culture, including organoid culture techniques and organ-on-a-chip systems.
- Proficiency in molecular biology, preferably within immunology.
- Fluent in English and a Scandinavian language.
