Job Summary:

Techconsult AS is seeking a highly skilled Drilling and Well Planning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Drilling and Well operations team, you will be responsible for planning and executing drilling and well operations on fixed platforms and mobile installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Planning and Design: Develop and implement plans for drilling and well operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Execution and Coordination: Oversee the execution of drilling and well operations, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and safe completion of projects.
  3. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other disciplines to perform method selection, risk assessment, and equipment evaluation.
  4. Offshore Travel: Travel offshore as required to support drilling and well operations.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
  2. Offshore Safety Course: Valid Offshore Safety Course certification.
  3. HPHT Experience: Experience working in high-pressure high-temperature (HPHT) environments is an advantage.
  4. Teamwork and Communication: Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
