The Role


We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious, and charismatic Meeting & Event Host to join our Meeting & Event team. As a Meeting & Event Host, you will be a key part of creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive excellent service and that their events run smoothly.


Key Responsibilities


Your main responsibilities will include:



  • Providing a high level of service and technical knowledge to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.
  • Ensuring that our guests are correctly received in line with our Best Practice procedures and following up with them during the event.
  • Handling audio-visual equipment, lighting, and image.
  • Traditional conference and banquet work, such as setting up meeting rooms, cleaning meeting rooms, and setting out refreshments at the right time.
  • Staying up-to-date with our current fire and safety procedures.
  • Being engaged in our sales efforts and working towards our team's goals.
  • Continuously following up on guest satisfaction and acting accordingly.

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need to have a positive and problem-solving attitude, a contagious sense of humor, and the ability to ask questions. We are looking for someone with experience in a similar position, who is not afraid of manual work.


Working Hours


This role will require working on both weekdays, evenings, and weekends, just like at a typical hotel. Some night shifts may also be required.
