As Business Development Manager – Norway, you'll be the force behind expanding our market presence in Scandanavia.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales across Drum Winch Packages, Spooling/Traction Winches, Linear Winches, and Reel Drive Systems, while also promoting the full range of Ashtead Technology service lines whilst also building lasting client relationships and spot new opportunities through smart market insights. Day to day you'll be involved in:

  • Driving Growth: Supporting the Head of Sales in developing and executing strategies to achieve sustainable revenue growth across existing and new services and markets in Scandinavia.
  • Building Client Relationships: Engaging with clients to understand their needs, promote the company's full range of services, and establish strong, trusted relationships to secure profitable new business.
  • Leveraging Market Intelligence: Monitoring market trends, competitors, and customer activity to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with sales, service, and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions, support tenders, and enhance overall client satisfaction and business performance.
  • Reporting & Communicating Effectively: Maintaining up-to-date business development plans, CRM records, and client engagement reports to ensure transparency, accountability, and progress toward sales goals.

What experience you'll bring:

  • You have extensive experience in a Business Development / Commercial role/s, preferably within the offshore equipment and services sector in which Ashtead Technology operates.
  • You have a track record of delivering revenue growth through sales and business development led activities within assigned regional area.
  • You have the skillset to win business and secure new business consistently and effectively with a clear commercial instinct and a thorough understanding of contracting principles.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills, focussed on developing strong client relationships and can manage the sales cycle from initial approach to order closing.
