As our Finance & Accounting organization transitions to SAP S/4 HANA, we are gearing up for a pivotal phase. With testing starting this year and full implementation planned for next year, we are looking for new team members to help us navigate this transformation. In this role, you can expect a working day where you are in regular contact with colleagues from various parts of the organization, and you must therefore have good communication and collaboration skills. You are curious and enjoy working in a dynamic, exciting, and informal work environment.

You have good organizational skills and used to managing complex tasks in a hectic everyday life, often with short deadlines.

Responsibility and tasks

  • Month end reporting with cost/revenue accruals and follow up of forecasts for business unit/projects
  • Yearly budget/plan, monthly forecast
  • Reporting and follow up a specific cost/profit center/ business unit/project.
  • Monthly variance analysis and profitability reporting.
  • Actively participate in tenders and contract reviews

  • Finance advisor for the operational organization, including financial training.

  • Calculate and maintain internal cost rates.

  • Ensure compliance with procedures and processes.

  • Process improvements.

  • Participate in quarterly audits, - external and internal

  • Sap S4 implementation tasks

Qualifications and experience

  • Minimum bachelor within finance and accounting
  • 2 - 5 years relevant experience with finance accounting/project control, preferable from the oil industry
  • Good Excel skills
  • Proactive and highly developed communication and cooperation skills
  • Detail-oriented, curious, and with a high level of accuracy in combination with the ability to look at the big picture

  • Fluent in both Norwegian and English, both oral and written

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Due to occasionally tight deadlines, it is important that you are flexible and willing to adapt to deadlines and everyday challenges.
