About the roleWe are employing consultants in the field of strategic security management and Governance, Risk & Compliance. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, from hands on managing security processes and projects relevant for organisations' threat landscape, to ensuring compliance with the latest privacy and security regulations.
You will be working withAs a Security Consultant in GRC, you will get the opportunity to work with a wide range of tasks, for example:
- Managing digital processes and projects as a project leader or security manager for hire.
- Overseeing and implementing security measures to protect sensitive data.
- Develop and execute risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats.
- Provide security advice related to known laws and regulations (e.g., Security Act, EU AI-Act, GDPR, NIS2, DORA, etc.).
- Help organisations understand and implement findings from security audits.
- Assist high-profile clients in understanding security findings and implementing mitigating actions to enhance their cybersecurity posture.
We are looking for someone with IT security experience who is eager to handle larger, more complex security assignments while enhancing their management skills. Our ideal candidate is someone that:
- Has minimum 2 years of experience with information security management or compliance.
- Is analytical and able to find pragmatic solutions to complex problems.
- Wants to create value for the many organisations you work with.
- Understands how security issues affect an organisation.
- Is able to familiarise themselves with and communicate complex issues to non-technical personnel.
- Is self-driven and result-oriented.
- Wants to maintain and further develop their professional skills by attending conferences and courses.
