Reodor Studios
is a pioneering innovation and venture studio with growth ambitions. Through the last 8 years, we have proven that we both deliver results and grow at a fast pace. We combine consulting and venture building to help businesses find new revenue streams, grow into new markets and verticals, and develop or improve products and services. With a small dose of humility, we dare to claim that we are specialists in early-stage innovation, where we work from insights and concept development to finished solutions that can be tested and scaled in the market. With us, things move fast, and we make sure that what starts as an idea turns into something concrete and valuable.
What sets us apart is how we combine traditional consulting with the opportunity to build new companies. We have a team that matches our ambitions: economists, product designers, cybernetics experts, creative technologists, and more than two-thirds of us have founded and run our own companies.
About The Role
As a developer at Reodor, you will be more than just a problem solver behind the keyboard, you will be an active contributor to the entire product journey. The role is about combining solid technical expertise with an interest in users, business, and strategy.
You will work closely with designers, technologists, business developers, and clients to understand
why
we are building something and take a leading role in shaping
how
we build it. This means you will often contribute to several projects at once, where you set direction, take responsibility for architecture and technology choices, and ensure our solutions are both robust and scalable.
At Reodor, developers work with state of the art technology and are involved in the whole process, and we are looking for someone who takes ownership of the products they build, thrives at the intersection of technology, design, and strategy, and is driven to create solutions that both excite users and strengthen clients bottom line.
Together with our business team and design team, the Reodor tech team develops solutions across industries. We are in an exciting growth phase, and now we are looking for more product-oriented developers who want to help shape the road ahead.
As a developer with us, you will:
- Take technical leadership: Help set direction for architecture and technology choices, and ensure our solutions are both robust, scalable, and adapted to real user needs.
- Be part of the entire product journey: From idea and concept, through prototyping and testing, to implementation and ongoing iteration. You will help connect insights, strategy, and technology into practical solutions.
- Contribute to multiple projects at once: Use your technical expertise to support different teams, share best practices, and be a sparring partner for designers, business developers, and clients.
- Iterate and improve: Continuously refine solutions. We imagine you are driven by creating solutions that evolve in line with user needs that emerge along the way.
- Collaborate across disciplines: Work with business, technology, and design teams to turn strategic visions into concrete technical solutions.
We are looking for someone who:
Has at least 2–5 years of relevant experience as a developer, preferably from an agency or consulting firm, and with work across different industries. Maybe you have also been in a start-up environment or run your own projects or companies? It's not a requirement, but a big plus
You have:
- 2–5 years of relevant experience as a developer, with a solid understanding of principles and practices in modern software development.
- Experience in operating and further developing production-ready applications, as well as handling different technical challenges.
- A pragmatic approach to technology and tools—you choose what best solves the problem, not necessarily the most "hyped."
- The ability to combine technical depth with insight into product development, strategy, and user needs.
- Shown interest in and contributed outside your core expertise, for example in product management, UI/UX design, or product strategy.
- Strong collaboration skills, and enjoy working closely in cross-disciplinary teams with designers, business developers, and other technologists.
- A curious and proactive approach, you take ownership of projects and drive them forward.
With us, it's important to be self-driven, pragmatic, and solution-oriented. You need to enjoy creating momentum and actively contributing to several projects in a high-paced environment.
What we can offer:
- An ambitious and dynamic environment where you get the chance to contribute across many areas of the business. Exciting projects where we are involved all the way, from identifying a challenge to launching new concepts in the market. And yes, we work with the fun part
- Flexible working hours and the freedom to shape your own workday.
- A social start-up environment characterized by collaboration, knowledge sharing, entrepreneurship, openness, and humor.
- Competitive terms and the opportunity to participate in our share program.
- 6 weeks of vacation and the option of 4 weeks of workation, where you can work from abroad.
- The opportunity to pitch your ideas as potential ventures we might invest in and build.
- Social and professional events, such as an annual kick-off (we've been to Italy, Morocco, France, and Spain) and ski trips to the company cabin in Ål.
Interested?
If you feel that this is a company and position that truly sparks your curiosity, we recommend applying for the position.
We review applications on a rolling basis.
