Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales, Project & Quality Coordinator to join the team. This is a multifaceted role, the individual will play a crucial part in supporting sales and project execution activities from start to finish. Responsibilities include assisting Sales Engineers with quotes and customer follow-up, preparing sales bids for standard products, and developing technically and commercially sound quotations for complex filtration systems. The role involves managing projects from order entry through to delivery, ensuring all technical and commercial aspects are aligned with customer and industry requirements. Additional duties include customer service, reviewing technical drawings, cost calculations, and maintaining quality through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position also supports local office administration and contributes to the development of efficient workflow practices.
This role is based from our Stavanger site working Monday to Friday normal office hours.

Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Follow up and support Sales Engineers on quotes and sales activities
- Sales quotes and bidding for simple products
- Commercially prepare complex filtration and system quotations
- Customer service
- Manage projects from order to delivery including order entry, document submittals, planning and customer follow up
- To ensure commercial and technical compliance of all project orders and put in place project milestones and ensure timely completion of these milestones
- Capable of reviewing drawings and prepare cost calculations
- Administrating the local office services
- Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventative action for process related concerns.
- Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system
- Ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant Customer requirements, Industry regulations and the requirements of the quality management system.
- Develop local workflow practices
- Analyse failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints
- Back up for Order coordinator
- Work to achieve John Crane's environmental targets
Qualifications
- Norwegian and English written/spoken level fluent
- Excellent organising skills and ability to work independently
- Good customer facing, presentation, communication skills
- Technical knowledge
- Ability to assess commercial, contractual and technical risks associated with customer documentation and communications
- Document handling Experience
- SAP Experience
