Technical Safety
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety solutions and strategies.
- Manage area classification, escape, and evacuation plans.
- Oversee passive (PFP) and active (AFP) fire protection systems.
- Handle Fire & Gas and Emergency Shutdown (ESD) systems.
- Ensure compliance with functional safety standards.
- Lead the technical safety discipline within the project, ensuring work adheres to all procedures and contractual requirements.
- Maintain project schedules and meet deadlines.
Required expertise
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably mechanical or safety engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in technical safety roles.
- Detailed knowledge of national regulations and standards (e.g., TR, NORSOK).
- Experience with Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) units is preferred.
- Strong multidisciplinary understanding and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong commitment to quality and deadlines.
