In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • To assist in the design and configuration of DeltaV systems.
  • To participate in design reviews and support system integration activities.
  • To collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • To support on-site activities such as system commissioning, testing, and training.
  • To help prepare technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • To follow up on hardware delivery and the design configuration framework.
  • To participate in meetings with customers and project teams.
  • To facilitate and participate in workshops with customers.
  • To process input documentation and develop procedures for data management.
  • To report and record changes; conduct internal meetings.
  • To design the DCS system technical layout and functionality.
  • To support your team in front of customers.
  • To assist in the preparation of topology drawings and identify communication interfaces.
  • To assist/support the sales department regarding estimates and technical solutions.
  • To participate in sales meetings and report business opportunities to the sales department and key account managers.
  • To conduct IAT (Internal Acceptance Testing), FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing).
  • To design and implement operator interfaces and perform third-party interface testing.
  • To implement logic and HMI in the DeltaV control system.
  • To work closely with lead engineers.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (automation, electronics, communication systems, or industrial IT).
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic engineering environment.
  • Basic knowledge of control systems and programming.
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in Norwegian and English. 
  • Willingness to work at the customer's site for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Skilled Workers Certificate: Automation or relevant fields are preferred.
  • Advanced Degree: A master's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Internship or academic project experience in automation or control systems is a plus.

  • Å bidra til utarbeidelse av teknisk dokumentasjon og kontinuerlige forbedringsinitiativer.
  • Å følge opp utstyrsleveranser og forstå rammeverket for design.
  • Å delta i møter med kunder og prosjektteam.
  • Å tilrettelegge for og delta i workshops med kunder.
  • Å behandle inngående dokumentasjon og utvikle prosedyrer. 
  • Å rapportere og registrere endringer; gjennomføre interne møter.
  • Å designe DCS-systemets tekniske oppsett og funksjonalitet.
  • Å støtte teamet ditt i kundedialoger.
  • Å bistå i utarbeidelsen av topologitenginger og identifisere kommunikasjonsgrensesnitt.
  • Å bistå/støtte salgsavdelingen med estimater og tekniske løsninger.
  • Å delta i salgsmøter og rapportere forretningsmuligheter til salgsavdelingen og kundeansvarlige.
  • Å gjennomføre IAT (Internal Acceptance Test), FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) og SAT (Site Acceptance Test).
  • Å designe og implementere operatørgrensesnitt samt utføre testing av tredjepartsgrensesnitt.
  • Å implementere logikk og HMI i DeltaV kontrollsystem.
  • Å jobbe tett med ledende ingeniører.

  • Gode kommunikasjonsevner og beherske Norsk og Engelsk.
  • Vilje til å jobbe hos kunde i lengre perioder

Foretrukne kvalifikasjoner som skiller deg ut:

  • Fagbrev Automasjon eller lignende er en fordel.
  • Videreutdanning: Mastergrad i ingeniørfag eller et beslektet felt.
  • Erfaring: Internship eller akademiske prosjekter innen automasjon eller kontrollsystemer er et pluss.
