About the opportunity: PaleBlue is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic QA (Quality Assurance) Intern to join our team for an exciting ongoing project in collaboration with Aker Solutions. As an QA Intern, you will be responsible for assisting our team in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our software ROV simulator. The internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of subsea design reviews and access checks, as well as exposure to the broader field of offshore engineering.
Your Profile: 
  • Basic understanding of ROV systems, underwater technology, and subsea operations
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes and methodologies is a plus
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Familiarity with CAD or 3D tools is a plus

 Responsibilities: 
  • Supervising quality assurance tasks
  • Assist the team in developing and executing test plans and test cases for ROV systems and components.
  • Analyze test results, identify issues, and report them to the appropriate team members.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure that the ROV systems meet quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to ROVs.
  • Support the development of quality documentation, such as QA processes and procedures.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
  • Attend project meetings and contribute to project discussions.
